Environmental Officer

Job Description:

Ensures environmental compliance by providing oversight and assistance to shipboard personnel in complying with international, federal, state and P&O Princess laws and regulations and ISO 14001 EMS requirements that apply to the assigned ship.

The EO reports directly to the Master, with line of communication available to the Environmental Operations Director and his/her staff, as well as the Compliance Audit Team. The EO is a non-watch standing officer with responsibility for the oversight and verification of shipboard environmental compliance. The EO has full access to all employees and to all areas of the ship.
