Job Description:
â?? Responsible for fielding, advising, coordinating, reporting, and documenting all shipboard allegations of crime.
â?? Conducts investigations of alleged or suspected violations of laws, policies and regulations in support of governmental agencies and corporate governance.
â?? Works closely with local, state and federal authorities on matters relating to fraudulent or other illegal activities.
â?? Maintains liaison with the organizations Legal, Human Resources, Marine Operations, Hotel Operations, and Audit departments, as well as local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and private contractors, in order to achieve maximum results that support business efforts.
â?? Participates in, conducts and coordinates investigative activity with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies as needed to exchange information or cooperate with other investigations.
â?? Testifies before grand juries, courts and administrative hearings on investigative results when needed.
â?? Prepares comprehensive and cohesive investigative reports and statistical data.
â?? Participates in the identification of resource requirements to support investigations.
â?? Participates in the development of handbooks, training and related material covering a variety of communication systems and technical investigative programs.
â?? Works independently in planning and conducting investigations, but is provided assistance and guidance on assignments that involve unfamiliar issues or unusual investigative techniques.
â?? Leverages support from contract investigators.
â?? In addition to the normal work schedule, the position requires on call duty approximately 5 days per month.
