Job Description:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the following;

- Oversee the assignment of duties, responsibilities and workstations of employees
- Approve personnel actions to ensure proper staffing.
- Establish procedures & tests for the overall operation & maintenance, of machinery, equipment and facility furnishings.
- Evaluate and recommend the repair or modification based on factors such as environment, service, costs and system capabilities.
- Ensure all facility-related equipment & systems comply with established specifications, safety standards, & applicable codes and regulations.
- Meet with staff to review the requirements of the day's schedule, including guest requirements.
- Create and implement guest satisfaction revisions & improvements.
- Enforce and follow USPH standards, safety, environmental, etc., for all assigned areas
- Sustain maintenance cost at reasonable levels without affecting quality and standards.
- Review audit comments, & implement audit recommendations.

This position is located onboard one of our vessels.
All International applicants must have the ability to obtain a C1D Visa
Shipboard employees must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without aid
Foreign language skills are preferred, but not required
- 3 to 5 years experience in facilities management in a large hospitality/hotel or resort environment or equivalent shipboard experience.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes & environmental standards with regard to USPH
- 2 to 3 years managing a staff of 60+
- Extensive working knowledge of various products, systems and the associated maintenance of galley or kitchen, plumbing, carpentry, sound and light.
- Ability to read drawings, documentation, instructions, or specifications regarding modifications, enhancements, etc.
- Proven knowledge of the financial aspects of a facility operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost control.
